Tollywood director Sandeep Reddy Vanga usually doesn’t care about people talking negatively about his movies, be it Animal or Arjun Reddy. However, if he feels the need to respond to criticism, he does so logically and meaningfully. The same happened today on social media.
Recently, noted Hindi actor Adil Hussain mentioned in an interview that he regretted doing a role in Kabir Singh, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s debut Hindi film and a remake of Arjun Reddy. The actor stated that he was asked to join the sets for another day while he was busy with other work, and he negotiated for more money, which the team agreed to give. He also mentioned that when he watched the movie with a friend, he felt regret and walked out of the theater. Adil also stated that he never recommended the movie to his wife.
This video reached Vanga, and he didn’t hesitate to respond to the actor’s comments. He wrote, “Your ‘belief’ in 30 art films didn’t bring you as much fame as your ‘regret’ over one BLOCKBUSTER film did. I regret casting you, knowing that your greed is bigger than your passion. NOW I’ll save you from the shame by replacing your face with AI help. Now, smile properly.”
As usual, the internet was divided after Vanga’s response to the actor’s comments. It remains to be seen how the Life of Pi actor will react to Vanga’s remarks. Currently, the Animal director is busy scripting Spirit, his next project with the beloved Prabhas. Stay tuned for more updates.
