Shri Tej, the 13-year-old fan of Tollywood star Allu Arjun, was critically injured in the stampede that took place during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at the Sandhya 70mm theater on December 4. Shri Tej’s mother, Revathi, tragically lost her life due to asphyxiation in the unfortunate incident.
Allu Arjun took to X on Sunday night and penned a heartfelt message. “I remain deeply concerned about young Shri Tej, who is under constant medical care after the unfortunate incident,” the actor tweeted. He went on to say that he has been advised not to visit him and his family at this time due to the ongoing legal proceedings.
Allu Arjun further wrote, “My prayers remain with them and I remain committed to taking responsibility for addressing the medical and family needs. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I look forward to meeting him and his family at the earliest.” It’s well known that Allu Arjun had announced a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakhs to Shri Tej and Revathi’s family members. His team members have been in constant touch with Shri Tej’s father and are monitoring the situation.
