Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, fronted by Nani, is a good example of how a well-cut trailer can bring solid hype to a movie. This is the second film of Nani and director Vivek Athreya together after Ante Sundaraniki. For the first time in his career, Athreya has chosen a mass film. SJ Suryah locks horns with Nani in this full-on action drama.

The title itself is exciting, and in all the interviews, SJ Suryah almost revealed the story. According to him, Nani plays Saturday Baasha in the film, and the Jersey actor will behave like Maanikam for the rest of the days (referring to Rajinikanth’s Baasha). But why does the protagonist showcase his anger only on Saturdays? This is one aspect that is exciting the cinephiles.

In an interview, Nani opened up about this aspect. He stated, “Vivek told me the idea over a phone call in two minutes, and I instantly decided to do the film. The title was fixed at that moment. As SJ Suryah Garu said, my character promises his mother that he will show anger only on Saturdays. The sequence which has the reason behind it will not include me, and it is the most kick-ass moment in the film.”

Nani added, “Why Saturday has a very solid and superb reason. It is a kick-ass moment. I recently saw that scene in the editing room, and it gave me goosebumps. That particular scene will give an emotional high.” DVV Danayya produced this flick on a massive budget.
