Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will next be sharing screen with his daughter Suhana Khan in the high-budget action drama, King. The film is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by SRK’s Pathaan director Siddharth Anand in association with SRK’s wife Gauri Khan.

King’s shoot will commence in January in Mumbai. This will be followed by a lengthy schedule in Europe. Abhishek Bachchan is the antagonist in the film that is reportedly set against the underworld backdrop. If the ongoing buzz in the Bollywood circles is anything to go by, King will be hitting theaters on March 19, 2026, as an Eid festive treat.

Incidentally, acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, is scheduled to release on March 20, 2026, leading to an epic clash with King. Since the March third week coincides with festivals like Ramzan, Ram Navami, and Gudi Padwa, the makers of both King and Love and War are keen to cash in on the festive holiday advantage. Whether or not both King and Love and War will lock horns with each other or the makers will avert the clash will be known only in 2026.
