Maverick Kollywood director Shankar’s highly anticipated pan-India political drama, Game Changer, is hitting theaters worldwide on January 10 as a Sankranthi festive treat. Actor Ram Charan and producer Dil Raju took part in the film’s promotional event in Mumbai on Saturday evening.

Speaking at the event, Ram Charan said, “We have all grown up watching Shankar sir’s films. As Rajamouli sir said recently, Shankar sir is an epitome of commercial films. He defined larger-than-life cinema and global cinema. He was the first pan-Indian director we had. I feel blessed working with Shankar sir. As an actor, I feel enriched to work with Rajamouli garu and Shankar sir in a span of five years.”

Drawing comparisons between both Shankar and Rajamouli, Charan said that they both are taskmasters. “They expect a lot from each actor. They give you every opportunity to perform and give your best. It is very rare to work with such talent. They keep pushing you. Not a single day do they make you relax. They don’t want to waste a single shot. Shankar sir is so particular that he once found out a 5 percent difference in my hairstyle. He has such attention to detail,” said the actor.

Game Changer also features Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra in prominent roles. Thaman composed the music, while Dil Raju produced the movie under his Sri Venkateswara Creations. AA Films’ Anil Thadani is releasing Game Changer in Hindi.
