Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on 12th July. The vigilante action thriller features Siddharth in a crucial role. Today, the Telugu pre-release event was held in Hyderabad, and it was graced by the film’s cast and crew. Till now, the makers didn’t reveal any hint or information about Siddharth’s role. Many believed that he was playing the grandson of Senapathy (Kamal Haasan).

Numerous fan theories were formed based on the trailer. A few thought that Siddharth was the son of Chandru (Kamal Haasan). In the Telugu pre-release event that was held today Siddharth spilled the beans about his character in this much-awaited sequel. He said, “Samuthirakani played my father character in the film. He looks like my brother, but he played my father on screen. He is an amazing actor to collaborate with.” If Samuthirakani is the father of Siddharth, how is the latter related to Kamal Haasan? That needs to be seen.

At the event, Siddharth further added, “Shankar Garu’s imagination is mind-blowing, and there are stunning visuals in the film. Bharateeyudu 2 is a significant film in this day and age. The film teaches life lessons to the upcoming generations. Actors and technicians gave their 200% to this movie. The movie will show what happens when youngsters get fed up with the system.”
