Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan and Malayalam star hero Dulquer Salmaan will likely clash at the box office. Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar, written and directed by Venky Atluri, is coming to big screens on 27th September. By now, it is clear that Pawan Kalyan’s OG is not arriving on 27th September, and hence that slot is occupied by Dulquer Salmaan starrer. The movie, originally shot in Telugu, will have a multilingual release.
The latest buzz in the Kollywood film circles is that Sivakarthikeyan’s much anticipated patriotic film Amaran is also releasing on the same date in different languages. The official announcement about the release date is expected to come out soon.
Amaran is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the prestigious Ashoka Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation. Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions are jointly producing the movie on a gigantic scale.
Sai Pallavi is the female lead in Amaran. On the other hand, Lucky Baskhar will present Dulquer Salmaan as a bank cashier. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the female lead, and Naga Vamsi is producing it. If the news about Amaran turns out to be true we need to see who will win the box office clash.
