Rockstar, starring Ranbir Kapoor, gained a cult status over the years. AR Rahman’s music set a benchmark and was one of the film’s major highlights. Ranbir received numerous awards and accolades for his performance. Although the film underperformed during its initial release, it was re-released in a few select cinemas across the country 13 years later.

During its limited re-release, Rockstar nearly crossed a whopping Rs 2.33 crore net at the box office. This is a massive collection for the re-release. The film continued to have housefull shows in its third week of re-release. The film was directed by renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. Rockstar was Bollywood legend Shammi Kapoor’s last film.

Nargis Fakhri played the female lead, and the film also features a talented cast, including Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel, and Kumud Mishra in pivotal roles.
