Kollywood star Vijay’s highly anticipated swan song, tentatively titled Thalapathy69, went on floors in October. Svelte beauty Pooja Hegde, Vijay’s leading lady in Beast, is the female lead of Thalapathy69, while Premalu sensation Mamitha Baiju plays a key role.

Owing to the massive craze for Thalapathy69 as it marks Vijay’s last project before he enters active politics, the film is getting unprecedented deals from all over the world. As per the latest buzz, Thalapathy69 makers were recently offered a whopping Rs 25 crore by a North American distributor. However, the deal is yet to be inked, and more details will be out in a week’s time. If the deal gets finalized, Thalapathy69 will have to gross more than $7.5 million to break even in the North American region.

Bollywood star Bobby Deol plays the antagonist in Thalapathy69. The H Vinoth directorial will feature a soundtrack composed by star music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Leading production house KVN Productions is bankrolling this prestigious project, which is slated for release in October 2025.
