Before tying the knot with each other in 2006, Kollywood star couple Suriya and Jyothika shared screen in superhit Tamil movies such as Poovellam Kettuppar Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, and Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. Post wedding, Jyothia bid goodbye to movies to raise her children.
Now, the latest buzz in the film circles reveals that Suriya and Jyothika may star in a movie for the first time since their marriage. Apparently, either award-winning Tamil filmmaker Halitha Shameem or acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Anjali Menon of Bangalore Days fame might direct this movie. However, we will have to wait until the project is announced officially.
Jyothika made a comeback to the big screen with the 2015 film, 36 Vayadhinile. Since then, she has acted in several movies produced by Suriya. Stay tuned for further updates on their joint venture.
