With no top star movies hitting theaters during the Dasara season, several small and medium-budget movies are joining the big festive race. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan is the only big-ticket film that is gearing up for a Dasara release, while clarity is awaited regarding Suriya’s Kanguva making it to the festive clash.

Meanwhile, the makers of popular hero Sudheer Babu’s Maa Nanna Superhero have announced that the film will be released during the Dasara festive holidays. The exact date of release will be announced very soon. Maa Nanna Superhero is currently in post-production, and the promotional activity will begin in the first week of September.

Maa Nanna Superhero is being directed by Abhilash Reddy of the acclaimed webseries ‘Loser’ fame. Senior actor Sai Chand will be seen in a crucial role in the movie. V Celluloids and CAM Entertainments banners are jointly bankrolling the project. Stay tuned for further updates.
