After more than 2 years since the release of Vikram and Rocketry, Kollywood star Suriya is all set to appear on the big screen this Dasara festive season in the highly-anticipated fantasy drama, Kanguva. The film is slated to open in cinemas on October 10. The star hero is currently working on the Karthik Subbaraj directorial, tentatively titled Suriya44.
As per the latest reports, Suriya is in talks with star Sandalwood director Narthan for his next project. Apparently, Narthan recently narrated a script to Suriya, and the actor is yet to give his nod. Leading Kannada production and distribution house KVN Productions, the banner that’s currently bankrolling Yash’s Toxic, will produce the Suriya-Narthan project in multiple languages.
Narthan is popular for his superhit gangster drama, Mufti, starring Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar. The director is gearing up for the release of Mufti’s sequel, Bhairathi Ranagal, a prequel to Mufti. Meanwhile, Suriya’s much-talked-about project under Sudha Kongara’s direction is said to be on hold. Stay tuned for further updates.
