Legend Saravanan, a business tycoon in the textile industry, made his movie debut last year with the PAN Indian action drama The Legend. Directed by J.D. Jerry, the movie was produced by Saravanan himself, who spent huge bucks on this flick. Urvashi Rautela was paid a hefty remuneration to play the female lead.
But The Legend faced heavy criticism and became a massive disaster at the box office. However, Saravanan is undeterred by his first film’s failure and will soon kickstart his next. Tentatively titled Legend02, the movie will be set against the harbor backdrop, and it will also be a big-scale entertainer like The Legend.
Sizzling actress Payal Rajput will play the leading lady opposite Legend Saravanan. Andrea Jeremiah and Kick Shaam are roped in to play pivotal roles. Durai Senthil Kumar is the director, and Ghibran will compose the tunes. The movie is expected to hit the big screens in April 2025.
