Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Tamannaah Bhatia, was initially scheduled to be released on July 12, 2024, but it has been postponed by a month and will now hit the screens on August 15, 2024.

On the other hand, Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Icon Star Allu Arjun, is set to release on Independence Day. This film has gained a lot of popularity in north India as well, and its songs are already trending. Additionally, Shiva Rajkumar’s Bhairathi Ranagal (prequel to Mufti) is also eyeing an Independence Day release, making it a competitive long weekend at the box office.

There are rumors suggesting that Vedaa might be a remake of Ajith Kumar’s Vedhalam with some minor alterations. The teaser of Vedaa has garnered positive attention, and it looks like there is anticipation among the audience for a clash at the box office.

Directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment, Vedaa boasts a talented cast, including Sharvari, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Abhishek Banerjee in crucial roles.
