Bollywood star hero Hrithik Roshan was last seen in the movie Vikram Vedha. The film also features Saif Ali Khan in another lead role, and it is the official remake of the Tamil superhit Vikram Vedha. Though the reviews were good, the film failed to make it big at the box office.
Though it has been several months since the film was released, it still didn’t make its OTT debut. The latest buzz is that the movie might arrive on Jio Cinemas on 12th May, i.e., next Friday. The film’s OTT partner Jio Cinema which also is the digital streaming partner for ongoing IPL, deliberately delayed the OTT premiere.
The plan was to release the film during the IPL matches to gain solid viewership. Pushkar-Gayathri, the director duo who helmed the original, directed this Hindi version too. The film is produced by YNOT Studios, Plan C Studios, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment. Radhika Apte, Yogita Bihani, and Rohit Sharaf played other vital roles.
