Actor-director Ravi Babu is busy promoting the crime thriller Rush, for which he penned the script. The movie will be released on ETV Win on June 13. During one of the interviews, a journo asked Ravi Babu why he isn’t attempting PAN-Indian films when every other filmmaker is making such movies by picking artists from different states.
Ravi Babu made a sensational statement that is sure to raise many eyebrows. He feels that the PAN-India film concept has been the most abused one lately. Ravi Babu said, “Mayabazar and Lava Kusa performed well all over the country back in those days. What does PAN India exactly mean? The content has to appeal to the audience across India.”
Ravi Babu added that every film available on OTT can be called a PAN-India and PAN-world film since it will be watched by people all over the globe. “I think PAN-India is a very abused concept. It doesn’t make sense to me,” stated Ravi Babu.
