Director AR Murugadoss remade the blockbuster Ghajini in Hindi with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan. The Hindi version was also titled Ghajini, and the makers modified the climax. Aamir Khan’s Ghajini is the first Hindi film to collect 100 crores nett in India. Pradeep Rawat played the villain in both Hindi and Tamil versions.

In a recent interview, Pradeep Rawat revealed that AR Murugadoss initially planned to remake Ghajini in Hindi with Megastar Salman Khan. Pradeep Rawat said, “AR Murugadoss wanted to make Ghajini with Salman Khan. He was a big admirer of Salman. I know that Salman is short-tempered and that Murugadoss can’t handle him. On top of that, Murugadoss doesn’t know English or Hindi either.”

Pradeep Rawat continued, “I thought Aamir would fit the bill since he is a calm and composed person who respects everyone. In the past 25 years, I haven’t seen Aamir shout or yell at anyone. He has never disrespected or abused anyone. I thought there would be unnecessary complications if Salman played the lead role.” Interestingly, after a long time, AR Murugadoss got the opportunity to work with Salman Khan in Sikandar.
