The announcement of the prestigious 69th National Film Awards was made this evening, and the Telugu film industry reiterated its dominance by bagging nearly 10 awards. Leading Telugu film production house Mythri Movie Makers has made every Telugu film buff proud by winning three top honors at the National Awards.

Pushpa The Rise, the blockbuster pan-India action drama produced by Mythri Movie Makers and starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in Sukumar’s direction, won 2 National Awards. The film’s hero Allu Arjun has won the National Award for Best Actor Male and Best Music Direction for Songs (Devi Sri Prasad). On the other hand, mega hero Vaishnav Tej and young beauty Krithi Shetty’s debut film, Uppena, won the Best Regional Film (Telugu).

Producers at Mythri Movie Makers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar have been consistently churning out pan-India blockbusters for quite some time, and they are now overjoyed on their prestigious productions, Pushpa The Rise and Uppena, bagging 3 National Awards.
