With Dil Raju’s announcement that Ram Charan’s Game Changer will be released during Christmas 2024, fans are eagerly anticipating the most awaited movie of the year. However, Game Changer is set to face significant competition at the box office.

Releasing during Christmas week, Game Changer needs to maximise its earnings within 20 days to recover its budget, as many films are scheduled for Sankranthi 2025. If the content is compelling, the movie will attract audiences to theaters. Otherwise, Game Changer might struggle with collections, especially since Indian 2 did not meet expectations, leading to doubts about Shankar Shanmugam’s vision.

Another major release facing the heat in December is Pushpa 2. If the film is still on track for a December 6, 2024 release, it must be a massive hit with engaging content. While it has a high chance of drawing audiences due to its mass appeal, it could fail if the content falls short. Pushpa 2 has less than 20 days to recover most of its budget theatrically before Game Changer releases.

Amidst this, Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa, Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel, and Nithiin’s Robinhood are also set to release in December. However, there is a high chance of postponements.
