Normally, production houses prefer going ahead with crazy hero-director combinations because the magnitude of risk involved here will be less. Also, the combination factor will help the production houses earn huge bucks through theatrical and non-theatrical rights. But it takes a lot of courage and passion to make content-based films, and that too with young directors and medium-range heroes.
UV Creations has become the go-to production house for content-rich films in Tollywood. On one hand, they are backing tent-pole and event films with top-tier heroes, but on the other hand, they are also bankrolling content-oriented films with new blood. This way, the production house aims to deliver content to all sections of the audience. UV Creations established a subsidiary company named V Celluloid to nurture new talent, and recently, they made two films: Gaami and Om Bheem Bush.
Both these movies have set the cash registers ringing and also won over the audience’s hearts. While Gaami was a first-of-its-kind attempt in the history of Telugu cinema, Om Bheem Bush was a madcap entertainer. Vishwak Sen played the lead role in Gaami, while Om Bheem Bush was spearheaded by Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul Ramakrishna.
It’s good to see these positive outcomes since the production house has come up with a very good intention. Celluloid and UV Creations will announce its upcoming slate of films shortly.
