Varun Dhawan’s next release is Baby John, which is a masala entertainer that will be high on action. The movie was supposed to be released on May 31, 2024, but recent reports suggest a probable postponement. The delay in production works is said to be the reason for the postponement. The movie unit is still left with 10 days of shoot, and the team will also require more time for post-production.

The team is now looking to release the film either in June or July. Baby John is the official remake of the Tamil blockbuster Theri. The Hindi version will have Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi as the leading ladies, and A Kaleeswaran is directing it. Now that Baby John is postponed, this is a golden chance for Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD to strike gold in the Hindi belt.

The makers of the Prabhas starrer have already communicated to the distributors that the film is arriving on May 31. Hindi is an important market for a biggie like Kalki 2898 AD, and the makers are expecting huge numbers from North India. Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s Mr. Mahi and Mrs. Mahi is also releasing on the same date, but if Kalki 2898 AD arrives it will be the most preferred film for Hindi audience. Let’s see what happens.
