Varun Tej’s Matka teaser to be released on this date

Mega Prince Varun Tej hasn’t been in good form lately. His recent releases disappointed the audience highly, and the actor pinned all his hopes on his first PAN Indian movie, Matka. The period action is being directed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa 1978 fame. The makers took everyone by surprise by announcing November 14 as the release date.

Suriya’s most ambitious Kanguva is also slated for release on November 14, and this simply means Varun Tej is going head-to-head with the Kollywood star. Matka makers have decided to kickstart the promotional campaign with a bang. The teaser will be launched on 5th October at G3 theatres in Vijayawada. If the teaser can grab the attention of moviebuffs, then Makta will take a good opening.

Sizzling beauty Meenakshi Chaudhary is the female lead, while Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi is roped in for another crucial role. Matka is being produced on a whopping budget by Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri. The makers have built several sets at RFC to replicate the charm and essence of Vizag from a bygone era.

Naveen Chandra, Ajay Ghosh, Kannada Kishore, Ravindra Vijay, and P. Ravi Shankar are essaying vital roles. G.V. Prakash Kumar is composing the tunes. Will Varun Tej’s film strike a chord with the audiences across the country? Let’s wait and see.
