Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu, headlined by Simbu, is one of the best films in South cinema. Hence, the expectations were massive when the director announced Custody with Naga Chaitanya. Unfortunately the cop drama didn’t reach expectations. Now the director is coming up with the action entertainer The GOAT which features Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role.

During the promotions, Venkat Prabhu gave a big statement, which has now become the point of discussion. He said, “I can challenge that audience won’t be able to predict the screenplay. They can’t say where the film is heading. The GOAT will be like Mankatha on steroids. I disclosed the genre in the trailer, but nobody was able to guess it correctly.”

Venkat Prabhu added, ” That said, the narrative won’t be confusing, and the film will be easily understandable. It’s a fast-paced movie. In Mankatha, I didn’t touch upon emotions much, but here, that aspect has been taken care of. It will be like a Hollywood-style film with trademark Vijay elements.”
