Director Venu Udugula, known for Needi Naadi Oke Katha and Virata Parvam, steps into production with his debut venture, Raju Weds Rambai. Directed by Saailu Kampati, the film is based on a true story and set in the Khammam and Warangal border.
The title poster features the protagonist playing the drums with the girl beside him. In the glimpse, she introduces herself as Yenaganti Rambai, describing their love story as famous in their village, much like the coal mines of Yellandhu.
Set in rural Telangana, Raju Weds Rambai promises to be a heartwarming love story. The film is produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi, under the banners of Dholamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales. The technical team includes music by Suresh Bobbili, cinematography by Wajid Baig, and editing by Naresh Adupa.
Raju Weds Rambai is scheduled for a Valentine’s Day release on February 14, 2025, with more details, including the cast, to be revealed soon.
