Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for his next film, The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu. The movie, featuring Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, is set for a grand release on September 5, 2024, across multiple languages.

In parallel with his film career, Vijay is making significant strides in politics. Earlier this year, he launched his political party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). Today, he unveiled the party’s flag and official song at their Chennai office. The flag, adorned in maroon and yellow, features elephants on either side and a peacock surrounded by stars in the center.

The TVK did not align with any political bloc in the recent Lok Sabha elections, and Vijay plans to contest in the 2026 elections. On the cinematic front, Vijay is likely to conclude his film career with one final project, potentially directed by H Vinoth. An official announcement about this film and his political schedule is expected soon.
