Versatile actor Vikram will be next seen in the period action drama Thangalaan. Pa. Ranjith, who previously made films like Kabali, Kaala, and Sarpatta Parambarai, is the director. Thangalaan is based on a few real-life incidents that happened in Kolar Gold Fields. The theatrical trailer, which was unveiled a few days ago, received a good response.

Despite releasing the trailer, the makers didn’t reveal the release date and this disappointed the fans. Now, here is the official announcement from the makers, which is sure to bring a smile on fans’ faces. Thangalaan will be out in cinemas on August 15th. The PAN Indian film will clash with Double iSmart and Stree 2 at the box office.

Sizzling beauty Malavika Mohanan is playing a negative role. Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Sampath Ram, and Hari Krishnan are essaying important roles. Neelam Productions, Studio Green, and Jio Studios are jointly producing this flick. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music.
