Pushpa 2: The Rule star Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Jail in the early hours of Saturday. Bunny spent the entire night in the Manjeera Barracks in the jail in connection with the Sandhya 70mm case.

During Allu Arjun’s arrest at his residence, a video of the actor expressing his displeasure over cops entering his bedroom and not giving him time to change clothes till they arrested him went viral on social media. However, the Deputy Commissioner of Police issued clarification to the media and ruled out misbehavior with Allu Arjun.

“We didn’t misbehave with Allu Arjun during his arrest. He requested we wait till he changed his clothes, and we waited outside while he was in his bedroom. We took him into custody only after he came out. Allu Arjun voluntarily sat in the police vehicle,” said the DCP.

The senior cop also informed the media that police had requested Allu Arjun to leave when the situation was getting out of control during Pushpa 2: The Rule’s premiere at the Sandhya 70mm theater. “But Allu Arjun chose to watch the movie instead, and he spent 2 hours inside the theater,” the DCP added.
