Kalki 2898 AD, fronted by Prabhas, has once again started dominating the Tollywood box office. This week’s release, Darling, didn’t get the desired response, and hence, the Prabhas starrer has remained the first choice for moviegoers. In Hindi, the mythological sci-fi entertainer is having a dream run.

Till now, the Hindi version of this Nag Ashwin’s directorial made about 270 crores nett and is all set to surpass the lifetime collections of RRR (275 crores nett) by this weekend. Now the question is, will Kalki 2898 AD be able to cross the 300 crore mark? Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s new film Bad Newz hit the screens, and this reduced the screen count of Kalki.

Till now, only two South Indian movies have achieved 300 crores in Hindi (Baahubali 2, KGF 2). The reception of Bad Newz gives us an idea of whether or not Kalki can cross 300 crore nett.
