Yatra, the biopic of the late CM Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was a big sensation. Mahi V Raghav, who directed Yatra, is currently busy with its sequel. Yatra 2 will primarily depict YS Jagan’s political journey and his earth-shattering victory in the 2019 AP elections. The shoot is going on at a brisk pace.
Mammootty will be seen in Yatra 2 as well. The latest update is that the first look of Yatra 2 will be unveiled on October 9th at 11 AM. The buzz is that Tamil hero Jiiva will play YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in this biographical film. We will get more clarity on October 9th.
Shiva Meka is producing Yatra 2 under the banners of V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves Banner. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the tunes. Madhie is handling the cinematography. The political drama will be out in theatres in February 2024.
