Raayan, directed by Dhanush, is a massive blockbuster at the box office with over Rs. 150 crores gross. The actor’s third directorial NEEK (Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam) featuring young actors will be out in theatres later this year. Meanwhile, Dhanush has already started working on his fourth directorial, Idly Kadai.

Dhanush himself is the lead actor, and Nithya Menen plays the female lead. A crazy gossip about this project is going viral on social media. The gossip had it that Ashok Selvan and Arun Vijay are part of Idly Kadai and that the former is playing Dhanush’s brother on screen. However, Ashok Selvan took to his X and dismissed the rumor.

Ashok Selvan wrote, “I love Dhanush sir and an ardent fan and look forward to be working with him in the future but, would like to clarify that I am not part of Idly Kadai.” As per the grapevine, Arun Vijay is said to be playing the antagonist, but an official announcement is yet to come. Dawn Pictures is bankrolling Idly Kadai, and the shooting is currently taking place in Theni.
