Tollywood bigwigs Dil Raju, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Nagarjuna, Raghavendra Rao, Suresh Babu, and Murali Mohan met Telangana CM Revanth Reddy today in Hyderabad to discuss key industry issues. After the meeting, the media reported that benefit shows and ticket rate hikes would no longer be allowed in Telangana.

FDC Chairman Dil Raju has addressed these rumors now. He stated, “Things that we haven’t discussed were falsely projected in the media. The discussion was fruitful, and there wasn’t a trace of negativity from the government side. There wasn’t a word about benefit shows and ticket hikes in the meeting.”

Dil Raju added, “Police didn’t show us the Sandhya theatre stampede videos. DGP asked us to be accountable regarding the private bouncers. CM Garu wanted Hyderabad to develop in such a way that even Hollywood filmmakers should come here for shooting.”

“The government wants the actors to be socially responsible by participating in drug awareness activities. CM Revanth Reddy Garu opined that the film industry is as important as the IT sector in Hyderabad. Also, we spoke about Gaddar awards (previously Nandi awards) and how they should be implemented in connection with FDC,” stated Dil Raju.
